Swing trading or scalping

ideally swing trading has longer hold time but better chances of working out. proper risk management and knowing your limits always plays a factor into trading methods

In my opinion, neither of them are that good. Day trading is the best way to go, and just trade straight price action and nothing else.

Swing trading can be hard to learn, cause it takes long for the trade to come in to play, possibly days or weeks, and then once you open the trade, it could also take days for it to hit tp/sl. So point is as a beginner you will lose patience and not only that, but it will take longer to learn cause of the amount of waiting you do instead of actually day trading.

I think it just depends on your discipline. You can become very profitable with scalping if you are just in and out of the market. What helps me is setting a TP.
