MT4 VS MT5 WHATS THE DIF

IS THERE REALLY THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE? IM CURIOUS IS IT MORE PROFITABLE MORE IN SYNC WITH THE REAL MARKET IS IT MORE SOPHISTICATED? OR IS IT JUST THE NEW AGE UPGRADE

I've always wondered the same because some of the templates I use are for MT4 and even though MT5 is available, my group still insists on using MT4. I'm unsure why...
