Good day and trust that you are all well – plus surviving COVID-19.

Long time, no posting but for a variation of reasons, have been a tad quiet.

Herewith the list of EA's that I have tested and that have not performed well:
  • 2000pipsDaily
  • Cash Generator
  • HamsterLite
  • TSR5 / TSR2018
  • MnS00
  • BF Smart Scalper
  • YPY EA Imperium PRO
  • Asian Scalper
  • Vino Free
  • PinPointReversal
  • PTS_V_Power
  • Grid Primordial
  • DSProFX Scalp
  • Piphiker – don’t touch this EA. Absolute rubbish and the support is even worse.
  • WSAID
  • ZigZag
  • XxXBetaGenie
  • TSR Version 2.9
  • Lin Scalper
  • Life Changer EA
  • Dragon v4.1
  • Trio_Orchestra
  • AlgoTradeScalper
  • IFX EA
  • Forex_ANTIROBOT
  • Bouncy Cat
  • Smart Robot
  • Final Profits
  • Asian Asset
  • Rock Star
  • Stepping Stone.
  • If do use this EA, great for a ranging market of less than 100 PIPS. Strong trend market – bad news. Then need to use very conservative settings.
  • Striker
  • Cyberia Trader
  • TheMasterMind
  • The EA (also known as OverRich88)
  • Oxygen
  • wajdyss_MA_expert_v3 mod1
  • Evil Twin Scalper – would not open any trades
  • MiEA 3.0 – am re-trying with more conservative settings
  • MiEA 9.0 – just does not want to close trades!
  • Forex_Fiv_fix
  • Bar EA ipro v11 Full Version
  • KelnerPro
  • Scalper_PRO_v1.22
  • Defender EA
  • XFX Hunter EA
  • Signalspro007 EA V6
  • Trend Hunter V.8_fix
  • 4_5870796320230344716
  • PIP Killer
  • Jacaranda v4.1.3
  • Bdprofit
Sadly, it has been intensely frustrating testing and running these EA’s – plus hugely financially damaging as well (huge is an under-statement). In my opinion, unless can run an EA for at least 2x years on demo, it is not worth the effort nor the risk.

While I accept one school of thought is that need to manage an EA, i.e. manually activate / de-activate the ‘Auto Trading’ function based on Trend and Ranging, for me, that defeats the purpose of an EA. If so, may as well then revert to full-time manual trading.

EA’s that have survived – all Cent accounts:
Broker: PaxForex
PAX_ThunderBirdV10 – Cent account (divide values by 100)
https://www.fxblue.com/users/pax_thunderbirdv10
Currency pair: EURUSD. Time Frame: M15. Starting Lot size: 0.01 per USD1000. Leverage 1:500

Broker: InstaForex
EA: Defender
Currency pairs: EURUSD. Time Frame: M1. Lot size: 0.1. Leverage 1:500
EA: Striker
Currency pairs: EURUSD, AUDUSD, USDCAD, USDJPY. Time Frame: All H1. Lot size: 0.5. Leverage 1:500

Broker: FBS
EA: MiEA 3.0 – am re-trying with more conservative settings
Currency pairs: Mixed. Time Frame: M1. Lot size: Based on equity. Leverage 1:500

If you are trading, please share your trading results.

Keep well and stay safe.

Regards,
Stephen

Hi ALL,
Herewith the next few EA's that blew demo accounts:
  • Dragon v4.1
  • Trio_Orchestra
  • AlgoTradeScalper

Am testing the following (all on Cent demo account and either available from this platform or MQL5):
  • BF Grid Master
  • ThunderBird V10 (probably the best of all these EA's)
  • TrendFollower
  • Smart Robot
So far, the results are ‘OK’ – not great but also not blowing any accounts (that in itself is great).

Is anyone having success with any other EA on a live account? If so, please share.
Thank you,
I trader Thunderbird 8: it opened too much trades i I got frightened of DD! so I stopped . What is difference between TB 8 and Thunderbird V10?

Stupid question! Could it be possible that the moment you crack the ea to get it public with no limitation, that some of the EA will be destroyed so they will trade messy?

So many crappy EA's and most of them are too expensive. Now its really hard to trust and to decide which is which. Crappy EA + Accounts blown = Broke.
Hope there's still reliable EA out there.
