General Long-Term vs. Short-Term Trading: Your Preference

ello traders! Some swear by long-term trades, while others prefer the fast pace of short-term trading. What's your trading style of choice, and why? Short-term equity investments are viewed as riskier than long-term ones, which are thought to be far more lucrative and reliable in terms of returns.
 
I like short-term intraday trading. It gives me the opportunity to withdraw my earned profits on the same day and use them. Also, I do not bear additional costs on negative swaps for transferring trades to the next business day and minimize my risks in case of gaps at night, which could deprive me of profits if they occur against my open positions.
