I am 23 years old and i have been broke for at least half of my life. Its is painful up to some extent.Struggling for the basic needs.Watching your parents sacrificing their hunger to feed their their children. Not knowing if there will be food on the table tomorrow. Wanting something really bad that you cannot afford and pretending in front of your parents that you don't want it.Parents saving every penny to pay the school fee so that their children get best of education and don't suffer their fate..well its depressing, painful and life threatening.
But then you learn. You learn that your happiness is not at the mercy of your financial conditions. You learn the true meaning of sacrifice and value of your family. You learn that whatever state your are in can be changed with right attitude and hard work. Most of all you learn the value of things you have and that of money..
With God's grace, the financial state of my family is far better now. It was tragic being broke but the lessons that phase of life taught me will always play its part in the future.
