Extra confirmation of system entries

Hi guys ,when using systems do you have to use another external confirmation or do you just rely on system signals
 
i tend to rely on h1 h4 and d1 timeframes to check overall trend. base my entries on h4. usually 1 candle confirmation. 50 and 200ema
