Can you use a gold forex robot on other currencies

I honestly do not think that is a good idea as gold moves differently from currency pairs, but I might be wrong. I suggest you test it to find out.
 
You shouldn't, it's not advised. Gold EA's are programmed to accommodate its volatility. Currency pairs move differently.
