Indicies have the edge of being volatile but I've noticed the charts have a lot more market noise compared to a forex pair like AUD/USD. For those of you that are profitable, what keeps you on Forex pairs knowing you can make more money on indices?

For me its about 3. I try to get as many different perspectives as I can because anyone whose profitable right now could act as a mentor. This is why I love the youtube channel Trading Nut.

I've ran into some tools that just didn't make sense to me and seemed to not really do much for me.

There is a channel on youtube called The Moving Average. His 1 minute scalping strategy has been pretty reliable for me. You just gotta be disciplined for it to work.
