Introduction to Financial Markets:I took my first step into financial markets in 2000 when I was 13 years old, by following the stocks my father bought me as a birthday present. Despite wanting to study economics in the university entrance exam, I was not successful. Between the ages of 20-25, I operated in various sectors within the financial field with my TMT organization and Sekiz Group companies. In 2014, my interest in financial markets began as a hobby, at a time when YouTube was very limited as a source of information. I bought nearly 90 books and entered this field without a mentor and without knowing English. Within 2-3 months, I managed to reach a level where I could provide beginner-level education and manage a large community, and I started trading actively.My Trading Method and Perspective:Throughout my trading journey, which began in 2014, I have always focused on developing my own trading strategies. I built my strategies on continuation trends, and pullbacks have always been fundamental. I never tried to catch reversals. The saying of Catherine Williamson, daughter of Williams, "If you try to be the dog's nose and search for trend tops and bottoms, one day the dog's nose will get stuck in dirt. But if you become the dog's tail, the tail will follow once the nose finds the trend, making your trades safer," played a crucial role in building my strategies on trend continuation.I started taking my first trades in 2014, and the only difference between my current trading method and the one I used back then is the duration of my trades. While I manually traded on MetaTrader in 2014, today I have semi-automated my strategies using TradingView and various software, and I only open trades by following alarms. Between 2014-2018, the flow of information and economic calendar in financial markets was not as intense as it is today, so the continuation of trends lasted longer. However, in recent years, these durations have shortened, and my holding period in trends has decreased. As the markets constantly change, we traders need to notice these changes and update our strategies. Just like in 2014, I still focus on pullbacks today.Education:In 2013, I attended a Forex fair to get some ideas, and in 2014, I participated as a STAR sponsor and conducted six educational seminars on Saturday and Sunday. Within a year, I succeeded in becoming a highly regarded financial academy. Today, TMT Finance Academy is Turkey's largest financial academy with the highest number of people earning profits. Since 2014, I have never provided trading advice. As TMT Finance Academy, I have always taught how to fish, and I prepared a 41-hour educational set to enable every person I mentored to trade freely. I have organized nearly 110 seminars.The Ultimate Point in the Art of Trading:In 2024, with the advancement of technology, a beginner and a professional trader like myself with 13 years of experience can perform the same trades. The strategies I have been applying since 2014 now conduct their own analysis and only alert when conditions are met. We no longer need to follow the market and make drawings. For the past two years, I have only been trading from my phone, and my 18 screens now stand as decorations in my study room. Occasionally, I pretend to use these screens while posting YouTube videos.
